Bloodshot eyes, they open, I wake up, write, go to work, work, come home, write, sleep and start over. This is my life as I write the last chapter of my doctoral dissertation entitled, The Experiences of Asian Immigrant Women: Journeys into Corporate Leadership.

My research journey began eight years ago as I sought answers about Asian women and their place in corporate America.

While crafting this research, I have felt a sense of frustration, exhilaration, and exhaustion, sometimes simultaneously. Today, I am grateful to have come this far. I am almost there.

And I can see the light.
